"YOU DON'T HAPPEN TO PLAY THE GUITAR DO YOU?"... is the first thing Glenn said to Doc, after noticing him watching Hugh Cornwell intently live at The Rescue Rooms.
After a few pints, a plan was formulated to form a Stranglers covers band, with Doc on lead vocal and guitar duties and Glenn on bass and vocals. Joining them was Glenn's Nutty Boys band mate O on keys and finishing off the lineup was The Grocer on drums.
Their Ethos - To play the music of their musical heroes that formed the soundtrack to their youth, and not take themselves too seriously.
The Stranglers music played by fans for the fans.
