Strap yourself in for a Rocket Fuelled ride through the star filled galaxy of Elton John’s Classic years.
Our Chronological ROCKETMANIA journey takes off, appropriately, in Moon-Landing year 1969 before zooming through the early 70s with classics including Your Song, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man and Crocodile Rock.
After a brief stop for ‘re-fuelling’ the journey continues with a selection of songs from the seminal Goodbye Yellow Brick Road before visiting classics including Philadelphia Freedom, Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word and Blue Eyes The show finally touches down with the hit packed Too Low for Zero album, with maybe even a few later hits up our sleeve for an encore.
No wigs, no fake glasses (ok maybe one pair) and no pretence. The focus is on the incredible songs of Elton John and Bernie Taupin at their creative peak. A full band re-creates the classic Elton sound with meticulous attention to detail. The songs are interspersed with information and stories about the music and the people who made it placing the songs in context. With deep cuts like Skyline Pigeon and Burn Down the Mission alongside pop classics like Kiss the Bride and I’m Still Standing this is a must for both casual fans and Elton devotees alike.
