WITH SPECIAL GUEST LEE PRYOR: ACOUSTIC GUITARIST/SINGER SONGWRITER
In the late 60’s and early 70’s Lee started his early performances in the folk clubs and youth clubs in Sussex, Somerset, London and Manchester.
10 years on the road in Europe, and playing around the campfires on the hippie trails of India and Africa has given him a wide eclectic taste in musical styles and a particular fondness for the acoustic guitar.
After returning from Europe Lee settled on the Sussex coast, and although he still performed at the odd folk night with his guitar, lead vocals for local rock covers bands became the main avenue for his performances.
‘Habit’ ‘Copperhead’ ‘Coda’ ‘Freed’ ‘A Bad Attitude’ ‘The Amazing Brothers Zeppelino’ will be the names that some may recognise with gigs from Bognor to Hastings.
In 2012 Lee turned professional and joined ‘Whole Lotta Led’ (the UK’s original pro’ Zep’ tribute band) and spent the next 12 years touring the UK and Europe as the ‘Robert Plant’ within the band.
4 years ago Lee also joined ‘Strange Brew’ to continue the local presence however 2023 has seen him retire from band gigs to get back to his roots and his original love of ‘one man, one guitar’.
He currently performs regularly in venues along the Sussex coast with a set of laid back 60’s/70’s pop covers and has also recently turned his attention back to writing and performing his own songs.
