This year sees the 50th Anniversary of the Machine Head Album. So to celebrate DEEPLY PURPLE will be playing the whole album along with a selection of greatest hits.

Approaching their ‘coming of age’, having been together for nearly 18 years, the band has decided to hang up the wigs and the outrageous costumes but to continue preaching the gospel of Deep Purple!

Featured in Classic Rock Magazine as Britain’s best Deep Purple Tribute band, DEEPLY PURPLE faithfully recreate the amazing, guitar thrashing, organ rocking, virtuoso live performances that in the early 70's made Deep Purple the most exciting live band on the planet!

Every facet of Deep Purple's music is faithfully reproduced and the band are currently the only Purple tribute in the UK to perform with the full authentic equipment (Hammond Organ, early 70’s Marshall stack etc).

The Band’s show mainly covers the golden age of Deep Purple from 1970 to 1975 but also includes a few later tracks. The audience is treated to all the classic hits such as Smoke On The Water, Black Night, Woman from Tokyo and Highway Star, plus many of the legendary moments from the Made in Japan and Live in London Albums. The band’s mission is to go beyond the straight reproduction of the songs and unleash the energy and improvisation that made each Deep Purple live performance unique.
