Celebrating their iconic 1983 debut LP 'The Crossing' 40 years on from release. Big Country broke massively worldwide with the release of the album’s classic singles 'Fields Of Fire', 'Chance' and signature song 'In A Big Country'.
'In A Big Country' went on to become huge worldwide, selling over two million copies and driving ‘The Crossing’ to three prestigious Grammy nominations in the USA. The album reached no.3 in the UK and overseas it hit no.4 in Canada and no.18 in the US.
Formed in 1981 by guitar playing founder members, Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, both native of the band’s hometown Dunfermline in Scotland, the duo were Initially driven by a shared vision of widescreen guitar melody, harmony and lyric. The classic Big Country sound was further enhanced later that summer by the arrival of drummer Mark Brzezickiand and bass player Tony Butler.
Big Country are: Bruce Watson (guitars/vocals), Mark Brzezicki (drums/vocals), Jamie Watson (guitars/vocals), Simon Hough (vocals/guitar) and Gil Allan (bass).

Fresh from supporting Nik Kershaw’s sold out show at The Factory Live, TJ Walker (actually Tom Walker but had to change his name due to the more famous singer who wears a wooly hat and leaves his light on) is an exciting singer, guitarist and songwriter from Shoreham-by-Sea. His music credits include BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, Virgin Radio and LBC. He also had music in a Gary Oldman film, has written TV themes for prime time shows on ABC in Australia as well as writing music for Trinity College London's Acoustic Guitar Syllabus. He has 2 albums to his name which are available on all digital platforms as well as a Youtube channel where he releases weekly video about guitars and life as a working full-time musician.
